    warm community feel

Warm community feel with engaging hosts.

While the spacious room offered a charming character, it also came with challenges. The quirky setup of the place meant that some conveniences were overlooked. It was frustrating to experience limited TV choice and awkwardly designed shower fixtures. these made our stay less comfortable than anticipated.

We had a great stay, but the noise from social activities was a bit much. The dinner was fantastic, though—definitely a highlight!

    spacious room
    hearty breakfast
    misleading signage
    shower issue
    limited tv

Rooms spacious, clean, and warm. A unique welcome with a hearty spread of local produce for breakfast created a cozy atmosphere.

Misleading signage led to confusion upon arrival. Shower rose wasn’t fixed properly to the wall, resulting in an awkward experience. TVs were not user-friendly, with limited choice and some show content being inappropriate for the setting.

    warm hospitality
    spacious room
    delicious breakfast
    missing dinner option

We loved our stay at Gordon House! Les and John were super welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and clean, with tea and coffee making facilities and some delightful treats. The full Scottish breakfast was a highlight—absolutely delicious! It kept us fueled for our cycling adventures, and Les's hospitality truly made our experience special.

We didn't get to sample dinner during our stay.

We experienced warm hospitality and enjoyed delicious home-cooked meals that showcased delightful fresh ingredients. The charming decor, with its unique and quirky touches, made our stay feel truly special. The atmosphere during the social dinner parties was electric, allowing us to connect with fellow travelers from around the world, sharing stories and laughter.

Occasionally, noise from social activities disrupted the tranquility we sought during our stay.
